This webpage is meant to be an online database for assignments and the general topics we cover in class. It's not a substitution for being in class, as the classes I teach are focused around participation, discussion, and conversation.
I will do my best to keep this website up-to-date weekly, but not every day. This website supports student learning and can be a space where students go to find what out what they have missed, in the event of illness or functional school closures. My most important concern is that every student works on developing their skills in being personally responsible for their assignments, which is why this website is maintained.
My on-going intention this year is to directly share webpages, assignments, and project reminders under each class' tab, allowing any student or parent with the freedom to follow our class' progress, and reprint assignments that might have gone missing. With the issues and challenges that schools are facing in light of the COVID-19 pandemic, this site is functioning as a place where students, parents, and others can visit in order to see what's available for classroom resources, materials, and activities.
Please let this be clear: Not all assignments, activities, or notes will be posted here. If I offer the class a hand-out that is not on this webpage, I will print off another copy for any student or parent that asks me.
If you have any questions, concerns, or anything of similar nature, please feel free to contact me at your convenience, and I will do my best to respond in kind. :)
